I love all the 4 AD releases from the 80s and many of the 90s stuff. 4 AD gave us such brilliant bands like Clan Of Xymox, Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Pixies, Modern English and millions more. And 4 AD gave us the THROWING MUSES! This lovely DCD contains the first album and the first EP of the THROWING MUSES plus the first Demo-cassette and some unreleased tracks and as a special gift to Computer owners the wonderful Videoclip "Fish", well known from the "Lonely Is An Eysore" sampler. Really a lot of stuff for your money. The band influenced many other groups with their raw Indie-Guitar-Rock-Pop and the voice of KRISTIN HERSH crashes into your brain like a saw-blade. After the releases of the "Best of..." and "Radio Sessions" albums of the Pixies, this is another "you must buy or die" release by one of 4 AD most irresistible bands. (A.P.)
