| IN THE VINES - A Hat For Every Mood (MiniLP) (IAS Records/New Rose) This record of the american band was licensed in 1985 to the french label IAS Records, which must be a follow up to the legendary LŽInvitation Au Suicide label. IN THE VINES play some kind of New Wave, as bands like The Bolshoi, Gene Loves Jezebel or Zero Le Creche did. The whole has a more poppy feeling, than the mentioned bands, but sounds not bad. Not a classic Wave release, but okay to put on the record player a few times a year. |
