HEXENTANZ is a cooperation of members from The Soil Bleeds Black and Psychonaut 75 from the USA. „The Sabbat Comes Softly“ is a wonderfully designed 7“ EP, which will become a rare collector´s item soon, because it is limited to 500 copies only, comes in a great cover and really fat vinyl. Every lover of Ritual music with a heavy medieval touch will need this release essentially. The music reminds me a bit on the B-Side of Christian Death´s „The Scriptures“ album (Valor incarnation of the band) and also on some tracks from „The Wind Kissed Pictures“. Really ancient rhythms, dark atmospheres and an archaic feelings. Really, this kind of music must have been played at Walpurgisnacht on the Brocken in former centuries, when all the witches came together in the night of May, 1st. Well, it is hard to describe, maybe a bit of Mother Destruction and Skin, it can possibly be compared to Black Ice (side project of The Phantom Limbs) as well. HEXENTANZ is a very special project and hopefully we´ll get more stuff from these people soon. (A.P.)
