15 DELIGHTS OF DIONYSUS – The Nightmare Muzeum (CD 2002)
15 DELIGHTS OF DIONYSUS is, as far as I know, a side-project of the fabulous The Soil Bleeds Black. The CD is packed in a black on black printed papersleeve in a gleaming plastic bag, which looks very good. As dark as the artwork comes, is the music. Tribal drumming, ambient soundscapes, neo-classical moments and soundtrack-like works make this conceptual album very many-sided and it remembers me sometimes a bit on various Coil works. „Artifact 8“ for example has the same ritual atmosphere as „How To Destroy Angels“. This very special release is limited to 250 copies and you should try to get your copy very fast, ´cos it will be a rare collector´s item soon, like all the fine Fossil Dungeon-releases. I know, that I repeat always the same things about releases from this label, but be sure, it is truly one of the most committed labels for such music these days, beside Middle Pillar of course.
