PFFR – Party Ice (7“ 2002)
PFFR is a really strange project, which releases its music on the French Invasion Planete label. This 7“ with 3 tracks is limited to 500 copies and far away from the standard Minimal-Electro-sound of our days. The music sounds very 80s-like and has some kind of anarchistic feeling. „Everything goes“ seems to be the idea behind PFFR and it reminds me heavily on the late 70s/early 80s Synth-Punk-sound from the USA. Think of Nervous Gender meet the Soft Drinks with a certain B52s touch. This is definetly party music to dance to! Get it, if you like strangest fun and similar stuff...you´ll love PFFR! (A.P.)
