Here is
another obscure release from the strange S.P.K.R. label, again Industrial
noise with many samples and brainwashing atmosphere. DDR sounds really close
to another project called Nueva Germania and as far as I know, both projects
collaborated in some ways. Again there are very few infos on the Digi-Pak
cover, so it is impossible to write anything about the intention or
political ideas behind DDR. The sounds are mostly build up of hypnotic Loops,
humming sounds, voice samples and ambient atmospheres, disturbed by some
noise attacks. Sometimes it reminds me of some Coil releases and also of the
project Implosion. It is a pity, that I can not give you more infos about
DDR and the idea (if there is one) behind the project, but if you like
noisy-ambient-Loops, this could be the right CD for you. As far as I know,
